Hey there! Over the last six years, I've been on a journey to see just what all I can accomplish through marketing. Through this journey, the thing I’ve resonated most closely with, is that marketing isn't just about campaigns and numbers; it's about connecting people and creating spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and included.

One of my proudest accomplishments during this journey has been co-founding Durham Queer Sports, a community organization that blends my passion for marketing with my desire to build a safe and supportive haven for the LGBTQ+ community. At Durham Queer Sports, we've strived to foster a sense of belonging within the LGBTQ+ community and beyond, ensuring that everyone can enjoy sports in an environment that celebrates diversity and embraces all.

While my first approach is often creatively based, learning to also embrace the power of data-driven strategies, has allowed me to delve into the unique needs and interests of our community members. This approach allowed me to tailor our marketing efforts effectively, making a genuine impact and strengthening our engagement with the community.

In other roles, I've had the joy of creating branding style guides that reflect the heart and soul of a brand. Crafting compelling ad campaigns and marketing content that resonate deeply with our audience has been a true labor of love. Knowing how to set meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and run A/B tests have been essential tools in shaping successful strategies.

My passion for marketing stems from a genuine desire to make a difference, one connection at a time. I firmly believe that marketing is a way to weave people together, fostering understanding and unity. As I continue this journey in marketing, my mission remains clear: to utilize my skills to bring people closer and advocate for a world that celebrates diversity and inclusion.

Outside of marketing, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee with my club team in the Triangle, spending time with my five pets (Daisy, Moe, Korra, Bodhi, and Koda), and working in my vegetable garden!
